Skylights Improving Play at Net
The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team returns to their home court Saturday night for a conference match against the University of Great Falls Lady Argos.

The Skylights come into this match with a 1-5 conference record, while UGF are 3-3 in conference play.

Skylights Head Coach Bill Huepsh says a key for his team in this match is to continue their improvement in blocking. Northern had 15 blocks in their last match against UM-Western.

The Skylights and Lady Argos play 7 PM Friday in the Armory Gymnasium. Northern has a bye week next week, they'll then have a pair of home matches against Lewis-Clark St. and Montana Tech the 17th and 18th.

Blue Pony Golfers Compete at State This Weekend
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) - The Havre Blue Pony golf team will compete at the State A Tournament Friday and Saturday in Hamilton. The Havre girls will compete as a team, while the Havre boys did not qualify as a team but still send four individuals.

Havre Head Coach Brett Gilman says the course in Hamilton is a mountain course so there's lots of trees. The course has thick rough that can be hard to hit out of so his team will want to stay in the fairway.

The State A Tournament is this Friday and Saturday at the Hamilton Golf Club.

Skylights to Hold Intersquad Scrimmage
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) - The MSU-Northern Skylights basketball team will hold an intersquad scrimmage this Saturday in Belt.

Northern coach Chris Mouat says Skylight point guard Taylor Cummings has strong ties to the Belt school and community, and that's a big reason for this event, whose proceeds will benefit a hall of fame and scholarship named in Cummings' fathers honor.

This game will also help Mouat evaluate his team. Including some new things put in on offense, and the decision of who to redshirt.

This game is Saturday at the Belt High School Gymnasium, with tipoff at 7 PM.
