Community Service
|
Creating award winning Community Service isn't easy. It takes an extraordinary commitment to important local concerns, integrity to strive for a balanced presentation of views and creativity to focus the public spotlight on the issues that matter. Because all radio is not created equal, it takes a talented team to crystallize radio programming that makes a difference. That's why New Media Broadcasters' radio stations have been recognized by their peers and honored with prestigious awards like the National Association of Broadcasters' Crystal Radio Award for excellence in community service. Public Affairs programs like "Outlook" and "Insight" can be heard every Monday and Friday morning and afternoon. Community Calendar liners that address the instructional or charitable activities of local organizations are aired several times each hour. Public Service campaigns that educate our listeners on issues of local importance rotate throughout the day.
